At bananass.de, we place great importance on sustainability and the responsible use of resources. As some of our products may contain batteries or rechargeable batteries, we would like to inform you about the legally required disposal instructions.
Disposal of batteries and rechargeable batteries
Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste.
You are legally obliged to return used batteries or deposit them at a collection point. This not only protects the environment but also enables the recycling of valuable raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel.
You can dispose of your old batteries:
- free of charge at public collection points
- or send them back to us
Meaning of the symbol
The symbol of the crossed-out wheelie bin means that batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste.
In addition, the following markings may be included:
- Pb = contains lead
- Cd = contains cadmium
- Hg = contains mercury
These substances can be harmful to the environment and health and must therefore be disposed of properly.
Return of old batteries
As a customer of bananass.de, you are legally obliged to return used batteries.
The return itself is free of charge for you.
You can dispose of old batteries:
- free of charge at public collection points
- or send them back to us

If you return them to us by post, the return, including shipping costs, is free of charge for you.
